The answer is in understanding the power of never giving up; the power of commitment. This can be much more important than the specific action or methodology.
We’ve all heard the cliché about there being several ways to the top of the mountain. The truth is, no matter what path you choose to take, if you are not committed to do the work of walking the path, it won’t matter because you won’t get there.
Why?
Because without establishing a solid commitment it can be all too easy to give up when the going gets hard. We then convince ourselves to choose another path that we think will be easier. But again, without a solid commitment established and nurtured, this too results in yet another failed attempt.
When you have a goal, a dream, a heartfelt desire that is truly your voice inside calling you towards it – choose a path (any path that will get you there) and stay committed to this path… stay committed to your heart.
It is in the commitment and consistency of action over time, not the particular path, in which we find ourselves arriving at the doorways of our deepest dreams.
